CANCELLATION, RETURNS & REFUNDS
Returns
Cancellations can be done if the order is not shipped from our side. Once the order is processed and shipped it cannot be cancelled
Our policy lasts for 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since you received, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as Solved Papers, Handbooks and Selected Text Books
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
- There are certain situations where refunds are not granted: (if applicable)
- Book with obvious signs of use.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.
Refunds (if applicable)
Refund will be processed in 10-12 working days
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed which takes 10-12 working days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account first.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@shivdas.in and send your item to Shiv Das and Sons Publishers 9665,Islam Ganj , Library Road, Azad Market Delhi-110006.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping
Delivery time – it will take approximate 5-7 working days to deliver the product
To return your product, you should mail your product to Shiv Das and Sons Publihsers,9665 Islam Ganj, Library Road Azad Market,Delhi-110006
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligation of shipping under the standard terms and conditions, if prevented from doing so because of an act of God, strikes, fire, flood, explosion, civil disturbance, acts of terrorism, epidemic and / or pandemic events, interference by civil or military authority, accident, labor disputes, or labor shortages, or because the continuation of the services would be in violation of any governmental laws, rules or regulations or would cause or create any material safety, health or environmental concerns, or other causes beyond the reasonable control of the party and not intentionally caused by such party (“Force Majeure”).
Temporary Surcharge
To continue providing our customers with the best possible service during this time, we are forced to implement a temporary surcharge on all parcels and shipments, until further notice, which is due to the consequential increase in tariffs by our partner courier agencies.
